Green Smoothie: From vegetables to oranges

This smoothie is not only revitalizing, but also packed with vegetables and fruit. It gives you a true kick of energy for the day. Whether you need to get your vitamin intake in for the day, trying to battle a cold or simply love smoothie’s. This one will rock your day.

In a blender (to serve 1)

  • Handful of spinach
  • 2 inches of fresh ginger cut into pieces
  • 1 celery stick cut into pieces
  • Juice of one orange
  • Juice of half grapefruit
  • 1 cup of carrot juice or more to get blender going (I used organic juice from a bottle with no added sugar)

Blend that smoothie up and you have such a refreshing drink. It is equally part orange and green. I just love that incorporates so many different fruits and vegetables so I know that no matter what I eat the rest of the day that I had a good start.
